In 2009 we have a powerful team of individuals who have come together to make Wings & Wheels 2 happen:
Col. Tom Lawson, Honorary Colonel with Snowbird Squadron as President and Jim Graham of Try Recycling as Vice President - Wings & Wheels.
Peter Garland, a broadcaster known through out this area, to be the Co-Executive Director. Peter served as air show director for ten years and is a former 12-year member of the RCAF. Peter is the President of the Board - Jesse's Journey, The Foundation for Gene and Cell Therapy.
Sue McKittrick will join Peter as Co-Executive Director of Wings & Wheels 2. Sue is involved with the St. Thomas and District Chamber of Commerce and also Jesse's Journey.
The Air Operations side will be headed up by Gerry Vanderhoek – we are very glad to have Gerry back - and this time he will be assisted by Peter Hill and Brent McKellar. We are very excited that Maj. (Ret'd) Ian McLean, former Snowbird Team Leader has also volunteered to join our team on the Air Ops side. Lyle Holbrook will be joining us again as Air Boss.
Don Hunter, a classic car show organizer and owner of the Husky Travel Centre on 401 E is our "Wheels" coordinator, responsible for the display of some of the world's most fascinating automobiles.
Andrea Decoste, will act as treasurer and will be assisted by Melanie Cole. They both work with St. John Ambulance.
In addition, and most importantly, we are fortunate to have a host of enthusiastic air show/car show - experienced volunteers from previous London and St. Thomas shows from which to draw to help organize every facet of a successful Wings & Wheels Show.
